For transparency purposes and to provide myself and you with sacred reciprocity that feels nourishing to my energy, I have created a pricing model.
SLIDING SCALE MODEL
Sliding Scale pricing model is a form of payment I have practiced since the birth of Tinta Verde Studio. It is a model I learned as a pop up market vendor, street vendor, artist vendor, community vendor in the "informal spaces" of Oakland, CA.
This pricing model is meant to make art accessible to a wider audience of folks with a range of socioeconomic backgrounds. Folks with less monetary resources have the option to pay what they can. Folks with an abundance of monetary wealth have the option to support artists in ways that others cannot.
This pricing model embodies care for accessibility as well as care for the artist and our physical, and intellectual labor.
Website Items
I will be paying myself a minimum wage of $25 per hour per piece of adornment I create. Some pieces require hours of feeling the concept, to arrange and rearrange and I feel deserving to be compensated for my physical, intellectual, and emotional labor of creation.
There will be additional cost for material sourcing based on material cost.
I have decided that with this minimum wage pricing model, I will still be providing sliding scale pricing options.
Smaller Scale Items
To maintain accessibility for folks, I will keep creating affordable items. For smaller items and items that require less creation time and material, I will keep cost as low as $10-$15 sliding scale.
Custom Designs
For custom designs there will be a base cost of $30 and I will be paying myself a minimum wage of $30 per hour of creation time.
I will track hours, material costs, and invoice you a clear description at completion.
